Krea released Krea 3 on October 15. It is an AI photo editor built for edits, not for first drafts. Its big promise: it changes only the part you ask for.
What it does
Say you have a product photo and want to change the background. Krea says Krea 3 leaves the rest alone, including labels and logos. It makes pictures at 2K size and can use up to 6 reference images for one edit.
Speed and price
Krea says most edits finish in under 8 seconds at 2K size. It lists other editors at 27, 33 and 90 seconds. These are Krea's own numbers.
The price is $0.06 per 2K image and $0.03 per 1K image. You can use it on krea.ai or through partner platforms.
What it cannot do yet
It is not real time. More resolution and a "circle the area" tool are still being worked on.
What this means for you
If you sell products online, this could save you time on photos. But AI can still make small mistakes, especially in logos and text.
